Co-op home page development

I once was a treasurer of co-op we lived in. A few notable activities I had done were:

- Balanced the finances; the cash management was virtually non-existence and I implemented the discipline to finally balance

- Developed co-op home page to: have contact details, post meeting minutes, list out by-laws

Today most large buildings have a website and email list for varieties of purposes. Back in year 2000, however, it was rather unusual. The benefits of having the co-op site was obvious in so many ways, just as today’s similar sites are used everywhere. I implemented the simple authentication so only the members could get in.

This is the screenshot of the home page. Note that “404” happens to be the address of the co-op, not to be confused with “404 error.”

Each image is a link to additional page. For example the coin image links to all the financials while the book image to the by-laws, etc.
